Given the nature of the Internet, these rules may change periodically. Compared to a lot of other Web sites, kevinski.com has a pretty slim set of rules. If you break them, then you very well may find yourself on the receiving end of a ban.
If you sign up, then I expect you to participate. (Read section [1] below.)
Keep content and discussions appropriate. (Read sections [2a], [2b] and [2c] below.)
No douche bags allowed. (Read section [3] below.)
Sonic fans should refrain from annoying me. (Read section [4] below.)
You can use profanity, but not racial slurs. (Read section [5] below.)
[1] New users should post at least once whenever they join. Existing users should maintain even a minimal level of activity on the site. If you don't intend to participate, then I ask that you not join.
[2a] I don't mind discussions about emulation, but I do believe than any true gamer will pay for the games that he/she plays. That said, providing or requesting illegal copies of games (or any other media, for that matter) will result in a ban. When in doubt, clear it with me.
[2b] I have no problem with tasteful nudity (i.e. no portrayal of sexual acts), as long as you keep it legal. No male nudity, though. I do ask that you keep nudity (or anything unsuitable for the workplace) confined to topics labeled with NSFW. Also, I ask that you not post anything too disgusting or graphic in any context.
[2c] No "first" posts. Really, posting "first" is synonymous with requesting a ban. Don't do it.
[3] If you play nice, then you shouldn't run into any problems here. Don't go out of you way to annoy or attack anyone (unless they deserve it, of course), especially with regard to gender, nationality, race, religion or sexuality. Don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself in any of the aforementioned areas, either, as you'll likely incite some sort of feedback as a result of it, and I daresay that you'll deserve it.
[4] I already hate Sonic the Hedgehog, so don't give me further reason to loathe the little bastard. Please, for the love of God, act normal.
[5] I have very few limits as far as potty-mouth goes. I swear a lot, so I don’t mind if you do, as well. Racial slurs will result in a ban, though.
