I'm not surprised. They idolize a character who - for the past 18 years - has retained the same smart-ass demeanor, regardless of how serious any particular situation is. Sonic fans have a lot of things in common, yet none of these things should be considered to be even remotely normal. I mean, they listen to a band who's famous only because they write songs inspired by a fucking blue hedgehog. Their idea of porn revolves around this notion that every character (even Sonic, at times) should be female, just so they have an excuse to be nailed by Sonic. Also, they generally have attitude problems, but it's not as though they take these attitudes from their idol or anything. No, it's closer to what I'd expect from someone who takes "professional" wrestling a lot more seriously than anyone ever should.

Re: Sonic the hedgehog
I'll be 26 first week of April, and I haven't really cared for pro wrestling in about 20 years. Now, if you want to know anything about anything in pro wrestling, I know a guy that is a regular member and participant on a wrestling RP board. Yes folks, a forum RP based on professional wrestling exists. I have seen it. It's one of those things that if you aren't into it you can't ever remember it clearly, and yet you can never forget that it exists.
Oh, did you hear? Recently Hogan decided to go back home to WWE (formerly knwn as WWF). I guess that "malibu hills" lifestyle combined with his screwup children and failed marriage really hurts the bankbook. I guess a failed reality TV series doesn't help matters either. MTV dumped Hogan Knows Best and started up Brooke Knows Best. Brooke is his daughter for those of you that didn't know or care. Lemme put it this way: from what I hear she fits the "dumb promiscuous blond bimbo" stereotype PERFECTLY. Which means she will always have a place on MTV.
EDIT: Ahhh.... let's keep this post OT? Old-school sonic was awesome. Sonic Adventure was a good series on DC. I never really got into anything after SEGA went bottom-up.

The only thing bad about the post above is it forced me to also relive those made by LightSpeedBlast.

Re: Sonic the hedgehog
Sorry 'bout that, I tried to reinforce the idea of "professional wrestling is bad, m'kay?" and also how old-school sonic >>>>>>>> any recent sonic activity.
Did you know that Jaleel White (played Steve Urkel on Family Matters many years ago) is pretty much the go-to guy for the voice of sonic in many of the cartoons in a similar fashion to how Mark Hamill (yes, THAT Mark Hamill) has done the voice of Joker in many if not all animated Batman stuffs, including video games?
