No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
A new trailer was released for NMH:DS today. Looks awesome. The original NMH was pretty much the game that single-handedly justified my Wii purchase, and its sequel looks like it's gonna be even better. Really, anyone who owns a Wii and doesn't own NMH is missing out.

This one is gonna beat the hell out of the first one. I read somewhere that you'll get to duel-wield the beam katanas in the sequel. They really need to implement some sort of motion controls though. That would make the game perfect in my opinion.

Re: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
The original already uses motion controls, and I'm sure that this one'll be no different. You use motion controls for finishers and wrestling moves. I'm really hoping that Wii MotionPlus isn't required (or even utilized, for that matter) in the game, because I'm really not too keen on giving Nintendo more of my money for an add-on that basically does what the fucking Wii Remote was supposed to have been capable of from the start.

You've got a point there. When I say motion controls I mean for normal attacks though. Im sure they wont change the controlls much. So theres really no reason for them to use the motion plus thing. If they do then I'll fly my ass back to Japan and kick whoever made the controls in the face.XD

Nah, motion controls for regular attacks would just get tiring. Plus, you'd probably throw out your back playing NMH with full motion control. XD

Thats true but it'd still be fun lol. With stuff like that the wii might actually give people some excersize like its supposed to.

Hahahaha...if you want exercise on Wii, then get We Cheer. It has a pretty decent workout mode, believe it or not. XD

I think I'll pass on that lol. I dont need exercise that badly. As cool as I think it would be for NMH to have motion controls im happy it doesnt. I dont know about you but I like sitting down when I play my video games.

Honestly, NMH is best played standing up, in my opinion. I do wish that you could use two Wii Remotes, rather than a Wii Remote and Nunchuk combo. I don't particularly enjoy whipping myself in the face with the Nunchuk cord every ten seconds.

Re: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
Yeah but after playing it for a few hours straight I get tired and have to sit down for a minute. I remember one time when I was playing I hit my brother in the face with the wii-mote while I was trying to do a wrestling move. XD Never hit myself with it though. That usualy only happens when I drum on Rock Band. I've hit myself in the face with a drum stick more times than I care to remember.

Well, you can sit down whenever you're not in battles. I mean, doing the side jobs and exploring the city in search of t-shirts is sufficient for your time at rest.

Re: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
Yeah thats usualy when I break. Standing up seems to make the battles easier for some reason. Speaking of finding stuff though I still havent found every thing. I need to find all the lovikov balls so I can get the good attacks.

I read that Suda is talking about ways to utalize the Motion Plus addon for NMH2. Or the new Vital Sensor their talking about making. They could do some cool stuff with a vital sensor but the motion plus seems kinda pointless. Unless they will add full motion controls.

Re: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
Actually, it sounds as though you misread the article(s) on the subject, just as I did. He's looking to incorprate Wii MotionPlus into NMH2, and I honestly hope that it doesn't happen. I really, really don't wanna buy that piece of shit, but I'll do it if NMH2 requires it. As for Wii Vitality Sensor, no, he's not incorporating it into NHM2, but he's looking into how he could use it in future projects.
I don't know if it was how the article that I read was written or what, but it was pretty damn confusing to me.

Re: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
Ah well I dont think it'll actually require it. It'll probably be optional if he adds it at all. There really isnt much that could be done with it unless there will be more indepth motion controls. They could do alot more with a Vitality sensor than something that makes things pick up motions better. In my opinion the MotionPlus is just a way for nintendo to milk money out of people. Since the wii doesnt have the amazing motion controls it was supposed to have in the first place people will buy it.

Re: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
I forgot about that lol. I just say that because when it first started they said they didnt have the technology to do it back then. I dont think it would take much to make a small cube that makes the motion sensor/wiimote be more responsive to motions though.

So Kevinski have you played NMH2 yet? I'm liking it alot more than the first one already. They upped the blood and violence quite a bit.
